    Epilepsy in women is a (largeish) pocket sized book which “adopts the female perspective and describes in detail the special problems that epilepsy can cause women”. It is not a mini textbook on epilepsy for medical students or junior doctors. The authors’ aim is to inform women with epilepsy about the condition and to highlight aspects of epilepsy and its management germane to women.
