Blindness | Occipital epilepsy | Occurs in 25% of occipital seizures, usually other epileptic features such as motor activity or altered awareness |

Focal paresis | Sensorimotor epilepsy | May rarely occur without preceding clonic jerks in sensorimotor cortex epilepsy |

Sudden, brief and focal loss of tone | Negative myoclonus | Seen in epileptic and non-epileptic causes of cortical myoclonus |

Amnesia | Temporal lobe epilepsy | Pure amnesia without other symptoms has been reported occasionally |
