Association study and meta-analysis of Alzheimer's disease risk and presenilin-1 intronic polymorphism
2007, Brain ResearchCitation Excerpt :The clustering of individuals based on ethnicity cannot be considered an adequate method for obtaining larger sample. In a given country, several ethnic differences may exist due to historical reality; so more information is necessary to select a valid subset of patients (Nishiwaki et al., 1997). Another factor that might have an influence is the great variation between what occurs in daily clinic practice, and what would be confirmed by an anatomopathological study.
