AB  - A case of prolonged, though reversible procaine-induced Parkinsonism treated with l-dopa and trihexyphenidyl (Artane-Sustets) is reported. A pathophysiological explanation is discussed on the basis of recent theories concerning the transmitter systems of the basal ganglia.
