The stimulation technique resembled B{\'e}k{\'e}sy audiometry: the patient reversed the direction of the temperature change of a thermode whenever warm, cold, or thermal pain thresholds were reached. The resulting temperature curve enables a quantitative description of the subject{\textquoteright}s thermal sensibility and of the degree of impairment displayed by neurological patients.}, issn = {0022-3050}, URL = {https://jnnp.bmj.com/content/39/11/1071}, eprint = {https://jnnp.bmj.com/content/39/11/1071.full.pdf}, journal = {Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery \& Psychiatry} }
