No abnormalities could be detected in the activities of either enzyme. On cellulose acetate electrophoresis a band of enzyme activity corresponding to the mitochondrial isoenzyme was detectable contrary to earlier reports. Possible explanations for the disparity of results between different laboratories are discussed.
