Clinical and pharmacological studies confirmed that the abnormalities were restricted mainly to the postganglionic cholinergic autonomic systems. The titre of serum complement was low, antinuclear antibodies revealed a diffuse pattern, and anti SS-A antibody was positive, suggesting that this disorder was caused by an immune mechanism.}, issn = {0022-3050}, URL = {https://jnnp.bmj.com/content/50/7/915}, eprint = {https://jnnp.bmj.com/content/50/7/915.full.pdf}, journal = {Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery \& Psychiatry} }
