Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed an infarct involving the postero-inferior part of the vermis (lobules VI to X) and a portion of the left cerebellar hemisphere, with apparent preservation of the flocculus and the brainstem. The role of the vermal lesion in these pursuit eye movement disorders is discussed.
