Over four years, the patient developed progressively worsening deficits of memory and language. A biopsy of his right temporal lobe showed numerous plaques and neurofibrillary tangles. Pronounced right parietal lobe hypoperfusion on serial SPECT suggests involvement of this region in contralateral praxis.
