The number of patients with pathological thresholds represents the sum of patients with thermal hypoaesthesia, dysaesthesia, or paradoxical sensation, and patients with absent or incomplete perception of repeated stimuli. No patient presented with hyperaesthesia. Incomplete perception was defined as perceiving< five of the stimuli applied for each threshold determination.
