Inclusion and exclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria:
1Progressive cognitive deficits
2Age >40
3Native English speaker
4Adequate visual and auditory acuity to complete neuropsychological testing
5Reliable caregiver who is capable of providing correct information about the patients
Exclusion criteria:
1Lifetime history of schizophrenia, manic depressive disorder, or schizoaffective disorder
2History of electroconvulsive therapy
3Current alcohol or drug misuse/dependence, or history of alcohol or drug misuse/dependence within 2 years of the onset of the symptoms of dementia
4Subjects with history of cancer within the previous 5 years
5Current significant disease or unstable medical condition that could affect neuropsychological testing (chronic renal failure, chronic hepatic disease, severe pulmonary disease)
