0, bilateral normal uptake; 1, uptake is asymmetrical with normal or almost normal putamen activity in one hemisphere and a more marked change on the other side; 2, uptake is significantly reduced in the putamen on both the right and left sides; 3, uptake is virtually absent from both putamen and caudate nuclei at each side of the brain.
